“I’m honored to recommend Sam’s materials for clinicians seeking thoughtful, practical resources for working with clients, especially neurodivergent clients, in EMDR therapy. Her materials—including workbooks, handouts, and structured guides—reflect a deep understanding of both EMDR and neurodivergent ways of processing the world. What stands out most is her ability to translate complex therapeutic concepts into accessible, visually engaging formats that truly meet clients where they are.
Through the integration of expressive arts, visual supports, and clear step-by-step frameworks, her resources create multiple pathways for engagement and meaning-making. These tools are especially supportive for clients who benefit from visual processing, creative expression, and/or concrete structure. The result is a set of materials that not only support clinicians in delivering EMDR with greater attunement but also empower clients to participate more actively and comfortably in their own healing process.
Her work demonstrates both clinical rigor and genuine care for neurodivergent experiences. The materials are thoughtfully designed, practical for real-world use, and deeply respectful of neurodiversity. I highly recommend these resources to EMDR therapists, educators, and mental health professionals who are committed to making trauma therapy more accessible, affirming, and effective for all individuals.”

"I adore The Guided Studio! They offer a treasure trove of resources that are creative, deeply thoughtful, and queer and neurodivergent affirming in ways that both clients and clinicians can appreciate. These tools enhance flexibility and accessibility in what can otherwise feel like a highly protocol-driven treatment modality. If you're looking for resources that help you think outside the box and expand your clinical practice, The Guided Studio is for you!"

Hey! I'm Sam. And I'm so glad you're here. I created The Guided Studio for therapists like us: the creative, the curious, the ones with too much on their plate, the neurodivergent clinicians, the ones who feel like we have 50 tabs open in our brains at all times. I felt stuck trying to fit the rigid mold of traditional therapy. I needed resources that were as dynamic and flexible as the clients I work with. Tools that embraced complexity instead of shying away from it. And also tools that were visually engaging to help keep my and my clients' focus. When I couldn't find them, I decided to make them myself, usually fueled by coffee, bursts of hyperfixation, and a deep belief that therapy can be both effective and joyfully weird. These aren't just tools; they're the resources I wish I had. They're born from real sessions, real frustrations, and a whole lot of love for this work. I hope they help you feel more confident, creative, and authentically you in your practice.
