Consent, Pacing & Visual Tools for EMDR and Parts Work
Unstick Sessions: Your Visual EMDR + Parts Work Lifeline
Stop pushing. Start pacing.
This mini visual kit is your in-session brake pedal.
You'll get two files:
1. Full-color version (For telehealth or color printing) (17 pages)
2. Printer-friendly version (with grayscale/black and white printables) (17 pages)
The in-session visual support kit is designed to help therapists quickly assess consent, pacing, activation, and protective responses during EMDR. Includes tools like the Dose Activation Meter, Stuck Point Mini Guide, and Safety + Consent visuals. Ideal for screen-share or printing as a fast “what do I do next?” anchor.
When activation rises, protectors activate, or something feels “off,” it can be hard to know whether to continue, slow down, or stop entirely. This tool gives you clear, consent-based decision visuals so you can respond calmly instead of guessing.
Designed for complex trauma, dissociation, and neurodivergent clients, this kit centers safety, system-wide permission, and ethical pacing.
You’ll get:
Safety + Consent Check flowchart
Dose Activation Meter (with customizable stop plan)
Window of tolerance reference
Protector permission reminders
Therapist regulation check-ins
Full-color version (For telehealth or color printing) + printer-friendly black-and-white version
Perfect for you if:
You’re unsure when to pause EMDR
You worry about pushing too far
Dissociation shows up unexpectedly
You want built-in consent tools
Because slowing down isn’t a failure. It’s clinical wisdom.
