The Upgraded Complete EMDR + Parts Work Toolkit
FOR THE EMDR SESSIONS WHERE “GO WITH THAT” STOPS BEING ENOUGH.
The Complete EMDR + Parts Work Toolkit is for the moments when processing stalls, protectors show up, dissociation complicates the picture, parts disagree, or you are simply not sure what to do next.
It gives EMDR-trained clinicians practical, parts-informed support without losing the EMDR map, the client’s pace, or your own clinical judgment.
Phase-by-phase guidance. Scripts. Clinical decision support. 28 practical tools. 5 expressive arts tools. A 75-page Visual Quick-Reference Library in color and printer-friendly versions. A fillable Worksheet Booklet with a separate printer-friendly edition. Two guides to help you find a starting place.
BUILT FOR THE SESSIONS THAT GET COMPLICATED
You were trained in the eight phases. The hard part is often what happens when the human in front of you does not move through them neatly.
Processing is looping.
Is this cognitive stuckness, protection, pacing, target fit, or something else?A protector says “no” or “not yet.”
Treat the response as information. Explore concerns, permission, pace, and what the system needs. The client goes blank, numb, foggy, or far away.
Slow down. Orient. Assess dual awareness. Resource. Decide whether processing should continue.Parts disagree.
Map the disagreement and support negotiation rather than forcing consensus.Standard scales or questions do not fit.
Use visual, sensory, symbolic, spatial, or low-verbal alternatives.Your own therapist brain goes blank.
Use quick-reference decision tools built for the very real “okay, now what?” moment.PARTS WORK ACROSS ALL 8 PHASES
Parts work does not have to pull you away from EMDR. This toolkit keeps the EMDR map visible while giving you more ways to understand and respond to the system in front of you.
Inside, you will find phase-by-phase support, practical scripts, decision tools, and a parts-informed EMDR workflow for the places where the standard version of the protocol needs a little more room for the actual human in the session.
NOT ANOTHER RIGID SCRIPT
Use what fits. Adapt it to the person in front of you. Clients do not have to visualize easily, use perfect parts language, give you a number, or process primarily through words. Images, symbols, body sensations, colors, sensory information, and simple choices can all be useful clinical information.
THREE CORE RESOURCES. SEVEN INTENTIONAL PDFs.
The Toolkit is built around three core resources: the Clinician Guide, the Companion Worksheet Booklet, and the Visual Quick-Reference Library. The full download includes seven PDFs because the worksheets and visual library each come in two useful formats, and you also get two different start guides.
FILE 1: CLINICIAN GUIDE. LEARN + PLAN.
The 148-page Clinician Guide is the clinical backbone. Use it for phase-by-phase guidance, case conceptualization, scripts, safety and consent support, protector work, therapist check-ins, neurodivergent-affirming adaptations, clinical pathways, and deeper context before or between sessions.
FILE 2: COMPANION WORKSHEET BOOKLET. COLLABORATE + USE.
The 88-page Worksheet Booklet includes 28 practical tools and 5 expressive arts tools for parts mapping, protector consent, readiness, sensory support, body tracking, alternative communication, client reflection, and therapist planning. You receive a color fillable version and a separate printer-friendly version for printing individual pages.
FILE 3: VISUAL QUICK-REFERENCE LIBRARY. SEE + DECIDE.
The 75-page Visual Library is for in-session use by screen share or print. It includes decision trees, safety and consent checks, Stuck Point guides, an eight-phase workflow, protector tools, BLS options, body maps, sensory and communication menus, alternative scales, closure support, and therapist-regulation tools. You receive both a full-color and a printer-friendly grayscale version.
TWO START GUIDES. FIND THE RIGHT THING FAST.
The 24-page START HERE Quick Start Guide helps you understand which resource to open and when. The separate two-page Even Quicker Start Guide is for the moments when you do not have time to search through the whole library. It gives you scenario-based directions toward a useful next tool without adding more cognitive load to an already complicated session.
THE GUIDED STUDIO ICON SYSTEM
Across the Toolkit, a 13-icon Quick Key helps you orient quickly. The icons flag what a page is offering, including pacing, consent, resourcing, neurodivergent-affirming options, expressive pathways, scripts, therapist check-ins, and in-the-moment decision support.
They are cues for collaboration, not a protocol. The point is to help you find the least-demand, most supportive next step when you are already thinking about a lot.
DESIGNED FOR MORE THAN ONE WAY OF THINKING
This is a neurodivergent-affirming and dissociation-aware resource. It includes client-friendly language where possible, generous spacing, short prompts, checkboxes, visual options, multiple ways to track experience, sensory and pacing flexibility, expressive arts pathways, and therapist-facing regulation support.
It is built for clinicians who want structure without forcing sameness. The tools give you ways to collaborate when numbers, words, or a standard sequence are not the right fit for the person in front of you.
